De.Fi recorded a total of 448 incidents across 15 leading blockchains and centralized protocols. The highest loss is still on Ethereum, the world's leading smart contract blockchain, with more than 1.3 billion USD stolen from 170 attack incidents.
Regarding the form of attack, 2023 saw a spike in access/private key exposure incidents with 29 incidents, causing nearly 853 million USD in damage.
