January 6th Heart's Voice
Master Hongyi said: "The best state of life lies in seeking deficiency rather than fullness; one should not seize all benefits, be greedy for all achievements, or enjoy all blessings." Therefore, in life, we can be persistent, but we must not become lost. Those who spend their entire lives trying to achieve perfection, disregarding everything else, ultimately realize that all love and hatred are a game with oneself. And when we no longer seek perfection and face fortune and misfortune with equanimity, our perspective opens up, our minds broaden, and we become self-consistent and self-disciplined.
In this life, we should strive to be transparent individuals, allowing everything to happen, not aiming for perfection in every matter, maintaining an ordinary mindset, and quietly enjoying the richness and length of life. Let the inner vitality continuously flow beneath the surface, believing that one day the shadows will part, revealing the light, and we will soar to great heights.
