A Tesla Cybertruck burst into flames outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday, setting off alarms—both literal and metaphorical. Videos show the futuristic vehicle engulfed in flames as smoke filled the air in front of the luxury hotel.
Las Vegas Police confirmed they are investigating:
“We are responding to a fire involving a vehicle at the entrance of Trump Towers. The fire has been extinguished.”
Elon Musk has also weighed in. Responding to a post by entrepreneur Mario Nawfal on X (formerly Twitter), Musk wrote:

“The whole Tesla senior team is investigating this matter right now. Will post more information as soon as we learn anything. We’ve never seen anything like this.”
With Musk—a vocal Trump supporter—and Trump’s political comeback on the horizon, theories are spreading like wildfire. Was this sabotage tied to political tensions, a random accident, or a Tesla malfunction?
