A year is too long of a prediction period... Here are my current favorite Tokens. Three months from now, I might provide a completely different list. That said, these Tokens are eye-catching and have impressive market caps because they are exploring the frontiers of the future. Remember, this is not financial advice. I hold most of these Tokens, so I am biased. Do your own research (DYOR), or you might end up regretting it.
1) Bitcoin (BTC) has been playing the 'grassroots game' for years. Now, discussions about 'Bitcoin strategic reserves' are changing its fate; it is playing the 'king's game'. Prices will continue to rise until most people cannot own a whole Bitcoin.
2) Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) is the core infrastructure for launching tokenized AI proxies on Base.
3) Ethena (ENA) Traditional finance (TradFi) has a far greater understanding of yield than any carbon-based life form on Earth. As TradFi bridges the gap into the crypto world, they will favor this project that may become a yield behemoth.
4) Tokenbot (CLANKER) has become an experimental hotbed for proxy activities in the decentralized social network Farcaster, while CLANKER acts as the pump.fun Token launch tool for this ecosystem.
5) aixbt (AIXBT) If I could only follow one account for crypto information on X (Twitter), it would likely be this purple Pepe proxy. Although it mainly retweets other content, it hardly misses any information, and I expect its insights to deepen over time.
6) Cookie DAO (COOKIE) Cookie.fun is the emerging data leader in the crypto-driven proxy network (i.e., Web4). Like VIRTUAL, COOKIE provides broad exposure for the overall growth of Web4, which I believe will attract new crypto funds for deployment in the first quarter.
7) Helium (HNT) is the flagship DePin project of the industry. Recently, over 349,000 people (often unaware) accessed the network for mobile service in the United States on a certain day.
8) Meta (META) is a radical experiment that transforms complex decision-making into markets through futarchies.
9) Goatseus Maximus (GOAT) is the first proxy AI to gain a fervent following on social media, powered by Truth Terminal. This proxy's backstory reads like a psychedelic report by Hunter S. Thompson.
10) Ondo (ONDO) is currently the flagship Token for RWA (real-world assets) adoption. Oversupply could dampen price movements, but I prefer to participate in trading rather than miss out. An alternative choice is Chex Token (CHEX).
11) AI16Z & ELIZA's Eliza framework for launching on-chain proxies is the leading codebase on Github across all industries (not just the crypto industry). Each fork deepens its long-term relevance.
12) Bittensor (TAO) claims to be the first 'neural internet', providing an interconnected hub for decentralized AI projects to deploy code and compete for TAO. To some extent, I view it as a decentralized AI incubator and a testing ground for AI idea feasibility.
13) WZRD & PUPS are my two favorite Bitcoin Tokens. WZRD is about to transform into one of the greatest internet memories: Magic Internet Money. Meanwhile, PUPS is the focal point of Bitcoin Puppets — the most recognizable NFTs in this field.
14) Aave (AAVE) If we assume everything will be tokenized in the future, most of these assets will be available for collateral on Aave's lending platform. AAVE is one of the few assets in cryptocurrency that I can see heading towards a trillion-dollar market cap.
15) Arweave (AR) is quietly cultivating itself as the permanent data storage layer for Web4. Approximately 6TB of data are permanently stored on Arweave every month, including most Solana NFTs. The upcoming AO should be an important catalyst for further growth.
16) Zerebro (ZEREBRO) is an OG 'fantasy AI artist' who regularly releases art, music, and highly entertaining tweets.
17) Worldcoin (WLD) founded by OpenAI's Sam Altman, WLD aims to launch 'AI-funded UBI' (Universal Basic Income) globally. I have complex feelings about it and its eye-scanning orb, but its connection to Altman and OpenAI is hard to ignore. Once integrated with OpenAI, it could instantly become a top ten Token.
18) Drift Protocol (DRIFT) supports on-chain perpetual contracts and prediction markets on Solana. Solana has excelled in spot memecoin trading... I expect significant growth in its perpetual contract trading volume in the future.
19) Griffain (GRIFFAIN) & AI Rig Complex (ARC) are vying for the crown of 'Solana's version of Virtuals'.
