Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has sent 38,400 ETH to its Beacon Chain, according to Whale Alert. This transfer, worth approximately $130 million at the time of the transaction, was sent from a Binance address to a Binance Beacon Chain address. The Beacon Chain is a proof-of-stake blockchain that is the foundation of the upcoming Ethereum 2.0 network. ETH holders can stake their tokens on the Beacon Chain to help secure the network and earn rewards. The transfer of ETH to the Beacon Chain could indicate that Binance is preparing for the launch of Ethereum 2.0, which is expected to be released later this year.
