What does the anticipated altcoin market look like?
In fact, whether the big coin rises from 57,000 or 67,000 to 110,000, there hasn't been a true altcoin season in the market until now.
An altcoin season must have altcoin leaders, which can be ETH or SOL, who will lead their little brothers, and their ecosystem coins will collectively surge.
XRP is not viable, DOGE is not viable, and BGB, HYPER are even less viable; they are all individual cases without leadership attributes; an altcoin season requires a collective uprising, a track uprising, where various big brothers lead their little brothers in mutual upheaval.
For example, Solana needs to act this way to be called an altcoin season; right now, it can only be considered a consolidation.
Just like the ETH chart, it still hasn't broken out of this round's large box; only the big coin's own rise doesn't count as a bull market in the crypto world.
We can divide this entire market cycle into three phases:
The first phase is from the end of 2022 to October 2023, where the market still follows the original crypto trends, which are quite conventional and familiar to us;
Market differentiation begins in the second phase, from October 2023 to October 2024. In the mid-to-late part of this phase, the paths of the big coin and altcoins show differentiation; the big coin exhibits a slow bull and long bull trend, stabilizing instead of dropping, which is very strong; while the altcoins, during the big coin's long bull cycle, experience a significant bear market;
Now we are in the third phase, starting from October 2024, where the big coin continues its own bull market; however, I believe we have now entered the initial stage of the altcoin bull market. The first part is not that intense, only a few are strong, followed by a pullback, and then a major altcoin surge. My strategy is to use the profits from the big coin (retracement) to give altcoins an opportunity, waiting for the altcoin leaders to rise!
