My cousin borrowed 💰 10 from me, I asked him what happened. "This time it's not me, my brother got into trouble, he was scammed of U!"

⚡ Can you imagine? Because a trusted friend bought U at a high price, when I was feeling pleased, I thought it was my friend helping me a lot, I volunteered to pay for drinks. 🌩️ It really feels like being sold and still counting the money...

Brothers and sisters, take a look, I hope to give you a reminder❗

The Christmas scam

Xiao A asked my cousin's friend Haozi to buy U, and the small transactions with Xiao A went very smoothly. Haozi's operations are very flexible; he keeps up with opportunities in the crypto circle and online, and at a young age, he has 500 assets. The only downside is that he easily trusts others and has never seen the harshness of society. Xiao A approached him to buy U in March, on the 12th, 23rd, and the 5th of April... basically, there were two or three transactions every month.

On the surface, the transactions seem normal, but a big problem arises: after Christmas, the money in my wallet 💰 disappeared in batches. With no money to live on, I thought about borrowing some from my cousin to go home for the New Year. I asked him if he could explain how the transaction with Xiao A was operated, the more detailed the better.

Building trust through small transactions

“All transactions were done on the platform, the first time was online, quite smooth, and we are both from the same hometown, so I added him on V. One time he said he was opening a new store nearby and invited me to dinner. Later, when we went for tea, he said he wanted to buy 500 U urgently in the next few days. At that time, my phone was out of battery, so I borrowed a power bank and chatted for a while before transferring.”

“After that, Xiao A has looked for me to buy before, and I even joked that he has been buying and not selling, wondering if his skills are lacking and advising him to take a break and focus on real business. But Xiao A still eagerly bought in, so I stopped paying attention.

After drinking on Christmas Eve, he called a few girls. Xiao A said he wanted to buy 1000 U in a few days. 🌲 One day after Christmas, I woke up and found the money was gone...

Decrypting the scam of the wallet theft of U

I told Haozi that the logic of this scam is that the scammers invite you to their own tea house, then find a way to make you restart your phone before the transaction, which actually allows the camera to capture your unlock password, and after a few small transactions, they capture your wallet transaction password, obtaining both your lock screen password and wallet transaction password.

Those two girls of his were also intentional, as they needed to access your phone, export your wallet, and private key. After engaging in a few more transactions, once they gained your trust, they invite you out for entertainment. While you are in a flirty mood during the interaction with paid companions— they directly unlock your phone, input the wallet export private key, and can complete it in 20 seconds. The scammers won’t touch your wallet but will invite you for the next big transaction, and when you transfer the digital assets of the big transaction into this wallet, you will be caught in a multi-signature trap.

The impressive point of this scam is that the victims do not know how they were scammed!!

Always remember in this circle: the moment you relax may be the moment you start losing your assets.

CC reminds everyone: If you also think you won't be scammed, then this story is a reminder to you: scams often hide in your most relaxed and trusted moments.
