$USUAL Raises $10 Million!!
After championing cryptocurrencies in the National Assembly until 2022, former congressman Pierre Person has finally launched his own decentralized finance (DeFi) project: Usual.
In short, Usual is developing USD0, a stablecoin that leverages the real-world asset (RWA) segment, while the USUAL token plays a role in the protocol’s governance.
On Monday, the project announced the closing of a $10 million Series A fundraising round led by Binance Labs and Kraken Ventures. Several well-known names in the ecosystem participated in this round, including Ethena, Galaxy, Ondo, and even OKX and Coinbase.

Following this announcement, the USUAL token benefited from a further upward acceleration, so much so that the asset is now trading at $1.36 at the time of writing, an increase of over 30%.
Since the beginning of December, the asset has risen by over 340%, after reaching a high of $1.65 last Friday:
