Mr. Trump appoints Bo Hines to lead the crypto advisory council

President-elect Donald Trump has just appointed Bo Hines, a former football player and unsuccessful candidate in the 2022 and 2024 House races, to lead the "Presidential Advisory Council on Crypto".

Hines will work under David Sacks, who is leading the AI and crypto sector.

Trump's statement: "In his new role, Bo will work with David to promote innovation and growth in the digital asset space, while ensuring industry leaders have the necessary resources to succeed".

This choice is surprising because Bo Hines seems to have had no public statements about Crypto. However, in the 2022 House race, Hines received support from Crypto organizations and even FTX, indicating he is crypto-friendly.
