ATL: All-Time Low - The lowest price a cryptocurrency has ever reached.
AML: Anti-Money Laundering - Measures to prevent illegal funds from entering the financial system.
Altcoin: Alternative Coin - Any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin.
AMA: Ask Me Anything - A Q&A session hosted by a company or individual, where users can ask any questions.
APR: Annual Percentage Rate - The annual interest rate on a loan.
APY: Annual Percentage Yield - The annual rate of return on an investment.
AMOs: Algorithmic Market Operations - Using computer programs to manage and control the market of a system. In cryptocurrency, AMOs are often used to manage the supply of stablecoins to maintain their peg to fiat currency or other assets.
AMM: Automated Market Maker - A decentralized exchange that uses smart contracts to automatically provide liquidity for trading.
BTD/BTFD: Buy The Dip - Buying when the price is falling.
Cex: Centralized Exchange - A centralized cryptocurrency exchange, such as Binance or Coinbase.
CBDC: Central Bank Digital Currency - A digital currency issued by a central bank.
DYODD: Do Your Own Due Diligence - Conduct thorough research before investing.

DEPIN: Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks
DEX: Decentralized Exchange - A decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, such as Uniswap or PancakeSwap.
DAO: Decentralized Autonomous Organization - An organization that runs without central leadership, controlled by its members.
DPOS: Delegated Proof of Stake - A consensus mechanism that involves delegating voting rights to elected representatives.
DApps: Decentralized Applications - Applications running on a decentralized network.
FOMO: Fear Of Missing Out - The fear of missing out on a potential opportunity.
FUD: Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt - Negative sentiment intended to create doubt.

GMI: Going to make it - Used to express optimism about a project's success.
Gwei: giga wei - A subunit of Ether.
HODL: Hold On for Dear Life - To hold onto an investment for a long time.

ICO: Initial Coin Offering - A fundraising method for cryptocurrency projects.
IEO: Initial Exchange Offering - An ICO conducted on a cryptocurrency exchange.
IBO: Initial Bounty Offering A method of launching a cryptocurrency project that incentivizes individuals to contribute their skills and time in exchange for new cryptocurrency tokens.
IDO: Initial Decentralized Exchange Offering The initial issuance of tokens on a decentralized exchange to raise funds from investors.
IFO: Initial Farm Offering A DeFi project distributes new tokens to participants proportionally based on the amount of native tokens they provide.
IGO: Initial Game Offering Early investment in a blockchain game by purchasing the game's tokens or NFTs.
INO: Initial NFT Offering A fundraising method based on NFTs, similar to traditional ICOs. INOs allow NFT projects to sell NFTs to the public during their initial launch to raise funds and expand their community.
ISPO: Initial Stake Pool Offering A unique fundraising method on the Cardano blockchain to support new projects. Unlike traditional ICOs, ISPOs don't sell tokens directly. Instead, users delegate their ADA to the new project's stake pool in exchange for the project's tokens.
ITO: Initial Token Offering A new type of fundraising method that involves issuing digital tokens to raise funds for blockchain projects.
JOMO: Joy of Missing Out The opposite of FOMO. It refers to the feeling of happiness or relief from not participating in something, especially when the price crashes or a project is revealed as a scam.
KYC: Know Your Customer The process of a business verifying the identity of its clients, often required by exchanges for compliance reasons.
LFG: Let's F-u-c-king Go/ Let's Freaking Go An expression used to convey excitement about a new project launch, NFT news, etc., similar to saying "let's go!"
MEV: Miner Extractable Value Additional revenue that miners can extract by reordering, including, or excluding transactions when creating new blocks.
NFT: Non-Fungible Token A unique digital asset representing items such as art, music, or in-game items.
OS: OpenSea The largest NFT marketplace on Ethereum.
OG: Original Gangster Originally referring to founding members of gangs, it now refers to early adopters or pioneers in a field. In the crypto community, OGs are respected early participants with deep knowledge of the space.
PNL: Profit and Loss The difference between the revenue and costs for a particular transaction or investment.
PoA: Proof of Authority A consensus mechanism where only authorized nodes can validate transactions and create new blocks. These authorized nodes are typically pre-selected and have high credibility.
PoB: Proof of Burn A consensus mechanism that involves "burning" cryptocurrency to verify transactions and maintain network security.
PoD: Proof of Development A way to prove that a cryptocurrency project has a real development team and the ability to deliver.
PoH: Proof of History A blockchain consensus mechanism that records the order of events using a verifiable time-series.
PoIM: Proof of Immutable A cryptographic technique designed to prove the immutability of blockchain data. Once data is recorded on the blockchain, it cannot be modified or deleted.
PoV: Proof of Value A new consensus mechanism that determines a participant's status and rights in a blockchain network based on their value contributions.
ROI: Return on Investment The ratio of profit to the investment cost.
STO: Security Token Offering A method of digitizing traditional financial securities (like stocks, bonds, and funds) and issuing them as tokens on a blockchain.
Socialfi: Social + finance A blockchain economic system that combines social networks and DeFi.
SATS: Satoshi The smallest unit of Bitcoin. 1 BTC = 10^8 SATs. It can also refer to inscriptions on Bitcoin.
To Da Moon: to the moon(Dogecoin) Indicates a rapid price increase, often used in conjunction with Dogecoin.
TVL: Total Value Locked The total value of assets locked in a DeFi protocol.
TGE: Token Generation Event The event when tokens are created and issued on a blockchain.
TX: Transaction Refers to the act of exchanging crypto assets on a cryptocurrency network.
TPS: Transactions Per Second Indicates the maximum number of transactions that a cryptocurrency network can process in one second.
UTXO: Unspent Transaction Output Refers to the remaining balance from a previous transaction that has not been spent.
2FA: Two-Factor Authentication An additional layer of security beyond a username and password that requires two different forms of verification.
