Things you need to know about staking USUAL
1. Staking has no lock-up period. This means you can unlock (unstake) at any time.
2. However, unlocking staking will deduct 10% of USUALx. Of the deducted 10%, one-third goes to USUAL*, one-third goes to the remaining staked USUALx, and one-third is burned.
3. USUALx can be sent to other wallets. Be careful not to accidentally send USUALx to bad actors.
4. USUALx automatic compound interest. Your earnings growth is reflected in: the number of USUAL that each USUALx can be exchanged for increases. However, it needs to be emphasized again that unlocking staking will deduct 10% of USUALx. This means if you do not want to incur a loss in the asset principal, you need to at least store enough USUALx earnings to cover the amount returned upon unstaking.
5. Investing involves risks. Please ensure you understand what you are doing. NFA.
6. If you have not performed on-chain operations before, I do not recommend using this guide. You may likely lose all your assets due to mistakes.
Step-by-step guide (mobile version):
Part 1: Withdraw USUAL from Binance to your web3 wallet (operations can start on 12.19 at 19:00 UTC+8).
Assuming you have a secure web3 wallet. Please ensure that the private key of this wallet is known only to you. Ensure that your wallet address has enough ETH on Ethereum to pay for GAS. I recommend preparing ETH worth 50U, the specific amount should depend on the gas cost at that time.
If your wallet does not have enough ETH, please consider topping up your wallet with ETH first.
First, click transfer on Binance, choose on-chain withdrawal, then search and select USUAL. You can withdraw your USUAL on 12.19 at 19:00; at this time, please enter your web3 wallet address, select Ethereum mainnet, and after confirming the address is correct, click withdraw.
Part 2: On-chain staking
First, enter the Usual website in the built-in browser of your wallet: Usual.money
Then in the first step, click the top left corner.
Step 2: After clicking the top left corner, the menu will expand. Please click Swap.
Step 3: After clicking swap, a new interface will load. Please click the arrow on the right side of Swap in this interface, and a new menu will expand:
Step 4: Select Stake from the menu bar.
Step 5: Click this purple small icon to switch to staking USUAL.
Step 6: Enter the amount you want to stake.
Step 7: Check the staking amount
You will see that each USUAL can be exchanged for fewer USUALx. This is because USUALx reflects its earnings in its relative value to USUAL. Do not worry, this is not an error.
After confirming everything is correct, click approve. You need to sign.
After signing, the button will change to confirm. Click it to pay the gas fee, and you will have completed the staking.
