In Ukraine, the exchange rate of the hryvnia has set a new anti-record — 41.83 UAH per $1, according to data on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Last week ended with a rate of 41.66 UAH per $1. As the publication explains, this occurred as a result of devaluation, currency liberalization, and actions of the bank on the interbank market.
"No one doubts that the National Bank will end [2024] at a level of 42.10 UAH/$ — this rate has been laid down by the government in the state budget for 2024, so it will be difficult to criticize the regulator's position," said the treasury director of one of the large banks.#UAH
