This usually happens with coins that, before being listed, have a pre-market. This significantly reduces the volatility of the launch.

#usual I don't know if it's manipulation but I've seen coins that in their debut go up to 3000% yesterday we saw something similar with a new coin. This coin didn't even have any publicity.. this whole week everyone was just talking about the usual and they come out with this. no way it can't be done...
