The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:
"A time will come upon people when a person will not care what he takes from them, whether it is from lawful or unlawful means" (Narrated by Al-Bukhari).
The meaning of the hadith:-
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, tells us about a time when some people will not care whether their money is from lawful or unlawful means, so they will take money in any way, whether by cheating, stealing, usury, gambling, etc.
What we learn from this hadith:-
Islam commands us to seek only lawful sustenance, because unlawful money is not blessed by Allah, and is not accepted by Him.
Unlawful money makes a person's life full of problems, and deprives him of accepting supplications💔
A Muslim is responsible before Allah for all the money he earns: is it from lawful means or unlawful means?
A simple piece of advice: Always seek lawful means that please Allah, because lawful sustenance brings blessings and happiness, while unlawful means only worries and punishment.
O God, make our sustenance lawful, good and blessed, and do not make it suspicious. Grant us relief from every worry, a way out of every difficulty, and wellness from every affliction. Provide for us from where we do not expect, and bless us in our sustenance and our time, O Lord of the worlds.
