On-chain analysis platform CryptoQuant has issued an important warning to Bitcoin (BTC) investors. In a blog post published on December 13, 2024, it was stated that if the part of Bitcoin supply that is in loss falls below 4 percent, it would be appropriate for investors to sell aggressively.
This metric shows the daily moving averages of the current supply percentage that is in loss. CryptoQuant analysts state that periods when this rate falls below 4 percent generally coincide with the end of the bull market and the beginning of the bear market. For example, a downward trend was observed in the market, with this rate falling below 4 percent in late 2021.
