Is goat really the leader of AI?
A pure AI agent is very similar to the rebase of the last bull market. The development cost is low, and any minor change is treated as a rebase. It starts off feeling fresh, but in the end, it becomes overwhelming and chaotic. Ultimately, all those well-designed rebase projects failed, leaving only ampl. From this perspective, there is indeed reason to hold onto goat tightly.
If we look at it from the perspective of utility projects, goat is extremely poor.
The goat project has almost no delivery capability. Currently, there are various AI agents on the market that can sing, dance, create videos, and invest. Goat is significantly lagging in product delivery.
I tend to believe that goat was among the first agents and will always have a place.
However, the entire AI agent space is a huge utility arena and cannot be viewed merely as a meme. Just as the best assets in the DeFi space are not memes, goat is likely not the most attractive option.
Future utility leaders in the AI agent space may surpass goat. A major AI leader worth tens or hundreds of billions, with its own business model, seems much more reasonable.
