PANews, December 13 - According to Fox News, OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman will join the list of American tech giants donating to the inauguration fund of elected President Trump. In a written statement, Altman said, "Trump will lead our country into the era of artificial intelligence, and I am eager to support his efforts to ensure that America remains at the forefront." It is reported that Altman plans to donate $1 million to the presidential inauguration committee in his personal capacity, rather than through OpenAI.
Previously, Zuckerberg and Bezos both announced donations of $1 million to the presidential inauguration fund, reportedly to ease relations with the incoming president.
