After my funds reached 100,000, there was significant fluctuation in my account, at times reaching 140,000 and at other times dropping to 80,000. The reason for this was that the contract multiplier was around 5 to 7 times, which caused substantial volatility.
After some reflection, I decided that the core of trading lies in your ability to control drawdown after making a profit, in order to preserve the fruits of victory. Therefore, I told myself to reduce my position size and try to keep it within 3 times.
Now my funds have reached over 600,000. Currently, I have moved 100,000 into spot trading, and 500,000 is in contracts, with my position size between 3 to 3.5 times. I also successfully avoided the significant drop a couple of days ago.
At that time, I closed all my positions before going to bed, and I had placed orders for LTC from 116 to 105. Fortunately, I only placed a small order for XMR; otherwise, I would have faced liquidation. This XMR completely overturned my understanding; it was so fierce, it jumped directly to 148. In hindsight, it sent chills down my spine. So, we must respect the market! Withdraw funds in time or move them into spot trading.
It's better to not make a profit than to incur losses. Not losing is winning. Let us encourage each other and slowly become wealthy together!
