Why does Elon Musk share baby pictures? 🐸
Elon Musk has been sharing a lot of AI-generated images, especially this morning. Interestingly, a large portion of these images were associated with the number PEPE.
Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, recently launched its new image/visualization software, Grok. This release coincides with OpenAI’s video creation software, Sora. Both tools are now available to X platform users, allowing them to create visualizations directly through the platform using Grok.
Many X users have used the feature to create and share images of themselves, Elon Musk, and other famous people. Musk has reshared some of these creations on his own account. Among them, several visuals related to Pepe have stood out.
Pepe, originally a comic book character created by artist Math Fury in 2005, has become a major symbol in the crypto world. He inspired the creation of the meme coin PEPE, which launched in 2023, and has quickly gained popularity among meme coins. Notably, Musk has shared images of Pepe rather than Dogecoin, despite his association with the latter in the past.
Over the past year, Baby has seen significant growth, increasing in value by more than 1,500%. Along with Baby, Musk shared images of other creations built by Grok, showing off the software’s capabilities.
