#worldocin (WLD)
Worldcoin leads the altcoins that cryptocurrency whales bought this week. According to IntoTheBlock, the Large Holders Netflow of WLD, which measures the difference between the number of tokens that whales bought and sold, was negative on December 4.
However, today, that figure has risen to 57.25 million, indicating that cryptocurrency whales accumulated Worldcoin in large volume.
At the current price, this accumulation is worth approximately $220 million. It seems that these notable purchases impacted the price of Worldcoin, which rose by 35% to $3.86.
If whales continue buying the altcoin, WLD could rise towards $5. However, an increase in selling by large holders could invalidate the prediction and push the price down.
#Mantle (MNT)
MNT, the native token of the Layer 2 network on Ethereum, Mantle, is part of the altcoins that cryptocurrency whales bought this week. The decision to buy MNT could be linked to ETH's performance.
Historically, when the price of Ethereum rises, other altcoins linked to it tend to perform better. Therefore, it was not surprising that the price of Mantle rose to $1.23 during the week. According to findings from BeInCrypto, this development could also be related to the notable accumulation by whales.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Bitcoin Cash, the hard fork of Bitcoin from 2017, is also one of the main altcoins that cryptocurrency whales bought this week. According to data from IntoTheBlock, the Large Holders Netflow dropped significantly on December 4.
But at the time of writing this, it has increased to 56,830, indicating that cryptocurrency whales bought $33.70 million in BCH. This development could be linked to the rise in Bitcoin's price to $100,000, especially since the number one cryptocurrency's fork has a strong correlation with it. In the future, if BTC continues to rise, then Bitcoin Cash whales could continue buying more of the cryptocurrency. In turn, this could drive BCH prices higher. However, if cryptocurrency whales decide to reduce their purchasing power, this may not happen.
