#Virtual
In April, I was FOMO'd by some like-minded big shots in the cryptocurrency space and invested 17,000 yuan in Virtual at $0.17. Later, I sold at $0.08 on ZhiMa...
At the beginning of the year, there was a lot of hype, claiming that Virtual was the next Rndr, the next leading AI coin. I believed it and bought in at nearly the highest position because the high in April was only $0.25, and I was the one who bought at $0.17...
Later, it dropped continuously on ZhiMa in May, falling all the way down to around $0.0197...
In April, there were 5,000 Aunties in the Virtual pool as LP, so it was as trashy as it gets, which is why it dropped tenfold in one go... Fortunately, I sold at $0.08. Otherwise, my 18,000 would definitely be reduced to 2,000 yuan.
The turning point for this coin was in September when the Ethereum in the pool was swapped for BTC. This became interesting because Ethereum has been performing poorly this year, causing Virtual to plummet until the liquidity pool in September turned into Bitcoin, at which point it finally started to recover. It quickly rose from $0.02 to $0.048, but I kept observing it between $0.048 and $0.1, as I had lost 10,000 yuan in April, and it would be a lie to say I had no resentment. It wasn't until late October when the Bitcoin in the pool increased to over 72 coins that I felt Virtual was stable again, and I could re-enter. I then chased in at $0.12 with 40,000 yuan and sold around $0.17, making a profit of 18,000 yuan, which is equivalent to getting back the 10,000 yuan I lost earlier. At $0.12, there were 76 Bitcoins in the pool, which, at a rate of 1 Bitcoin to 30 Ethereum, equated to a pool of 2,200 Aunties. So at $0.12, I went crazy messaging small investors to put in a few thousand dollars, and I also informed the group that I would chase it at $0.12...
However, everyone looked at the bottom of $0.02 on ZhiMa and no one was willing to invest! But little did they know that even at $0.12, it was still the bloody chips from my early selling...
Recently, the ecosystem coins under Virtual seem to have a market value of $200 to $500 million. This wave should have made that young guy from Southeast Asia, Singapore/Malaysia rich, after all, he is still very young and has created such an excellent project.
It’s worth noting that Virtual has been in the top three in cryptocurrency popularity from October to December this year, and even topped the charts for a month in November. It can be considered to have completely gone global.
