In recent days, I often hear people asking whether there will be a big correction in the near future and when it might happen. I don't like to talk about this now.
In a bull market, 99% of the time, the purpose of the decline is to rise further. If there is a big correction, it must be accompanied by a fierce pullback. This is determined by the ball theory. If it is a bear market, then the big correction is a one-sided decline, and the rebound high after the correction will be lower and lower. So in a bull market, whether it is a big adjustment or a small adjustment, just keep going long after the retracement. This is the only magic weapon to win in a bull market. There are two major disadvantages of shorting in a bull market. Either you are trapped for a long time, or you miss out on a large scale.
Moreover, if there is a big correction, will you not trade every day? Is it safest to be short every day? There is a possibility of a plane crash when flying, so don't choose to fly? It hasn't reached that time yet, so don't worry too much and panic too early. Wait until you make the money in front of you to panic and be wretched, then it doesn't matter.
