The NFT Pudgy Penguins project has announced the launch of its own cryptocurrency, Pengu, on the Solana blockchain. The total supply will be 88,888,888,888 tokens.

25.9% of the tokens are intended for the Pudgy Penguins community, 24.12% for other communities and new participants. The project team will receive 17.8% with vesting conditions.

Pudgy Penguins entered the top 10 largest NFT collections, achieving a market dominance of 9.5% in October 2024.
