Retail investors worldwide often share common weaknesses: they hold on during losses and rush to sell when profits begin to appear, completely ignoring trends and trading volume, focusing only on small account profits. A rational investment strategy should do the opposite: hold profitable positions under certain conditions, and set a stop-loss if losses exceed 5% of the principal. For instance, if a profit target of 15% is set, take profits if it falls back to 10%, and continue to hold if it rises further. Simulating 100 trades with a win rate of 50%, this principle can yield a 300% return. The key is to overcome greed and fear, align actions with knowledge, and remember to follow the trend.

Trend judgment can be aided by moving averages; an upward moving average indicates a bullish trend, while a downward one indicates a bearish trend. For short-term trading, refer to the daily moving average and follow when there is a breakout; for medium to long-term, rely on the weekly moving average, entering on breakouts and exiting on breakdowns. In unfavorable market conditions, it is advisable to stay in cash; do not recklessly attempt to catch a bottom in a declining cryptocurrency market, as the probability of profiting against the trend is low. Instead, focus on high-probability opportunities, abandon low-probability speculation, and be brave enough to recognize mistakes and set stop-losses for long-term success, which is more important than short-term profits.

For short-term operations, pay close attention to 15-minute to 1-hour candlestick charts, using KDJ to determine entry and exit points for the day, and analyzing OBV to gain insight into the intentions of major players. During a washout, volume narrows, while it increases during selling. When a strong coin encounters a risk announcement, short-term volume often shrinks, but there remains a possibility for new highs later. Investors must deeply understand these key points to build a scientific investment system, increasing their odds of success in a complex and changing market, avoiding risks, achieving steady asset appreciation, and maintaining long-term value without being swayed by emotions, but rather driving investment behavior with rationality and professionalism.
