Have you used Binance's Web3 wallet?
Binance, which had already been introduced in March 2023, transformed the DeFi wallet into a Web3 wallet at the end of October.
In the DeFi wallet, you had to access it through the marketplace, but now in the Web3 wallet, you can easily access it from the Web3 wallet tab next to the wallet overview.
The main feature of Web3 wallet is that dApps (Decentralized Apps) and all blockchains can be used easily.
Blockchain also supports many blockchains, including zkSync and Neutron, so you can get a full cross-blockchain experience.
But currently, in the token swap section, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain Avalanche Only Optimism and Arbitrum blockchains are supported.
Binance Web3 wallet also includes MPC (Multi-Party Computation), so every transaction between each blockchain can be used securely. In addition, it includes a system that will be able to detect and inform about untrusted smart contracts to prevent crypto from being sent to wrong addresses.
The security mechanism of Web3 wallet is different from regular DeFi wallets. The wallet key is stored in 3 places, so your cloud storage, It is stored in the device and Binance server. To log back into Web3 wallet, you will need 1 key from the device or cloud storage. However, if the keys have been backed up to cloud storage (iCloud, Google Drive), then only the backup password for devices with cloud storage access must be re-entered.(So,You don't have to worry about forgetting your password)
The emergency export function in Web3 Wallet needs to be used with caution. This is a function that should only be used in emergency situations, and when the private key of the Web3 wallet is exported in an emergency, the wallet will no longer be able to be used. If you import the private key again on another device, you will be able to use it again normally.
Binance won't post the cap because it's full of characters, so I'll post it in a separate post
