The road to success is not crowded, because there are few who persist. Only by persisting do we realize how many things need to be done along the way and how much there is to learn. As time goes by, there will be fewer companions on the road to success. Perhaps changing the phrase 'to the victor belongs the spoils' to 'the remaining are the kings' can more accurately express the relationship between success and perseverance. #PEOG
