Grayscale Files for Spot Solana ETF 🤩
Grayscale Investments has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to convert its existing Solana Trust into a spot Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF) under the ticker #GSOL .
If approved, it will trade on the New York Stock Exchange and become the largest Solana investment fund, with $134.2 million in assets under management. #Grayscale joins other major firms like 21Shares, VanEck, and Bitwise in competing to launch a spot Solana ETF amid Solana’s 277% price surge over the past year. Coinbase Custody and BNY Mellon will manage custody and administration, respectively.
