According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on-chain detective ZachXBT announced on the Telegram channel that the Australian cryptocurrency exchange CoinSpot was hacked and suffered a loss of approximately US$2 million.

More than 1,282 ETH are suspected to have been stolen from CoinSpot's two hot wallets within 5 minutes: in one transaction, 1,262 ETH was transferred from Coinspot's wallet to the address of the presumed attacker; in another transaction, 20.99 ETH was sent to the same address.

Data from Etherscan shows that the attacker used Uniswap, THORchain and WBTC smart contracts to convert the received ETH into Wrapped BTC, USDC and USDT.

It is reported that CoinSpot was founded in 2014. So far, there have been no reports of large-scale hacker attacks on the exchange.
