The story of Dookey Dash is inherited from Jimmy the Mokey, the third monkey released by Yuga Labs, the parent company of BAYC. While the bored apes were drinking, Jimmy the Mokey went to the toilet. After going to the toilet, a soldier suddenly rushed out of the toilet and handed a golden key and a treasure chest to one of the bored apes. Because the apes were too excited to celebrate, they threw the golden key into the wine glass. Jimmy the Mokey happened to drink the glass of wine, and the golden key also fell into Jimmy the Mokey's stomach.

The monkeys put on sterile gloves and took out scissors to try to get the key. Seeing this, Jimmy Monkey ran into the toilet and locked the door with a combination lock. Then he squatted on the toilet and tried to get the key out, but the key was stuck in Jimmy Monkey's "chrysanthemum" and could not be removed. Jimmy Monkey also fainted from the pain. Now the bored monkeys are trying their best to get the golden key, and the only way is to go through the sewer of BAYC.

Dookey Dash is a game that was created for this purpose. In Dookey Dash, the difficulty increases as the player tries to get as far as possible. The task is to dodge and break through obstacles in the sewer, picking up objects called fragments to earn points.

How to Get a Sewer Pass

The necessary ticket to participate in the Dookey Dash game is to hold a Sewer Pass. Sewer Pass holders will compete for the highest score in the Dookey Dash game and obtain new energy sources to summon. The highest single game score and bound wallet of a specific Sewer Pass will determine the energy source.

The points a user gets will depend on what they collect, the obstacles they destroy, and how long they survive in the sewer. Higher points will get a higher level of power source summoned at the final conversion. Here, higher points mean that the closer the player runs in the sewer to Jimmy Monkey's butt, the easier it is to get the key to the treasure chest. Sewer Pass application access is only open to BAYC/MAYC holders, who can apply for a Sewer Pass for free between January 17, 2023 and February 8, 2023. Sewer Passes can be used to play Dookey Dash games, can be transferred or traded, and can also be used as art displays, but users do not have commercial rights.

Sewer Pass will be divided into 4 levels according to the BAYC/MAYC held by the holder when applying, or the combination of BAYC/MAYC and BAKC (which cannot be minted, but can only be used for upgrading). Each level has its corresponding point reward. The higher the level, the greater the bonus and the greater the chance of getting better rewards.

Specifically, users can combine BAYC or MAYC with BAKC to obtain a higher-level Sewer Pass. When a user has multiple BAYCs, MAYCs, and BAKCs, there will be multiple options. For example, if a user has two BAYCs and one BAKC, he or she can apply for a Tier 4 Sewer Pass with one BAYC and BAKC, and apply for another Tier 3 Sewer Pass with another unpaired BAYC. If a user holds multiple Sewer Passes, he or she can select the Sewer Pass to use before starting the Dookey Dash game.

Once a Sewer Pass is claimed, its tier cannot be changed. For example, if you transfer a Tier 1 Sewer Pass to someone else, it will still be a Tier 1 Sewer Pass regardless of how many BAYC, MAYC, or BAKC tokens they hold.

How to play Dookey Dash

The points earned by users in the game will be linked to the wallet participating in Dookey Dash. If a user transfers a Sewer Pass to a wallet that does not use the Sewer Pass to participate in Dookey Dash, the points of the Sewer Pass in the new wallet will be 0. In other words, until the end of the game, a Sewer Pass can only be combined with one wallet to obtain points. This measure can prevent users from cheating by swiping a large number of addresses.

Non-BAYC/MAYC holders can purchase through the secondary market or be given as gifts to participate in the game. The Sewer Pass obtained through the secondary market or as gifts will not change all the level benefits related to the BAYC or MAYC corresponding to the initial application. However, if the received Sewer Pass has been used to play the game before, any previous points will not be attached to the new address that received the Sewer Pass, and the new address points will start from 0.

Before the game starts, users can buy energy packs, which give them a triple booster that lasts for 10 minutes. The price is 2 APE tokens. Energy packs can be purchased unlimited times.

Users have 3 weeks to play as many times as they want. On February 8, 2023, points earned from the combination of Sewer Passes and corresponding wallets used to play the game will be frozen and skill-based coin-minting will end. Sewer Passes and corresponding wallets reflect the points a user has earned, so Sewer Passes need to be saved in the same wallet used to play the game. This means that users must have the same Sewer Pass in the same wallet as when Dookey Dash ends on February 8, 2023.

Users can transfer or trade their Sewer Passes from February 8, 2023 to February 15, 2023. During this period, simply transferring or trading a Sewer Pass will not reset the points earned to 0.

On February 15, 2023, Sewer Passes with more than 0 points in their wallets will be eligible for conversion to mysterious new energy (more details to be updated by the official information), and the verified Sewer Passes with the highest scores will receive the keys at the same time. According to official information, the mysterious new energy that users finally converted is not a membership pass like BAYC. The number of Sewer Pass conversions will be determined by the number of Sewer Pass and wallet combinations that meet the conversion conditions, up to 30,000. Those with 0 points (or those who have not participated in the Dookey Dash game) will not be eligible to participate in the conversion.

In addition to the aforementioned prevention of user witch attacks, Yuga labs officials will also conduct anti-cheating checks. If they determine that a user has cheated at any time during the game experience, they will reserve the right to terminate the user's continued play, and the user will not be eligible for Sewer Pass conversion. At the same time, between February 8, 2023 and February 15, 2023, if any Sewer Pass is found to have any improper tricks in the Dookey Dash game, these Sewer Passes will be deemed invalid and ineligible for conversion.
