Peter Schiff believes that Bitcoin will destroy the US economy
Peter Schiff, an ardent Bitcoin hater, once again challenged Trump's dream of turning the US into a crypto-state.
He calls bitcoin a "value-destroying thing" and says Wall Street is pouring too much money into the BTC hype.
Schiff calls the 386,000 Bitcoins accumulated by the MicroStrategy company a ticking time bomb and predicts a "bloodbath" for their shares and, as a consequence, for Bitcoin.
He also warns that the Bitcoin reserve in the US will undermine the dollar due to hyperinflation.
In response, crypto-enthusiasts and Bitcoiners call Peter "a relic of the past who does not understand the new money game."
