🌪 More good news for crypto and privacy advocates. The US Court of Appeals has ruled that the #OFAC (Office Of Foreign Assets Control) overstepped its authority by imposing sanctions on the crypto mixer #TornadoCash .

Back in 2022, the #USTreasury sanctioned Tornado Cash, alleging that it had been used to launder more than $7 billion worth of crypto. The new court decision now allows anyone with an internet connection to access the service.

Of course, we don't want criminals using crypto protocols, but completely blocking open-source technology isn't the solution.
