Pump Science warned users about fake tokens produced from their compromised wallets and announced that they have no connection with these projects.
Pump Science, a DeSci (Decentralized Science) based launch platform on the Solana network, has announced that it has suffered a serious security breach. According to the statement, the private key of the platform’s wallet belonging to the address T5j2U…jb8sc was leaked due to a developer leaving this key exposed in the codebase.
Attackers used this wallet to create fake URO and RIF. Pump Science stated that all tokens generated through this wallet were fake.

Warning: The attacker continues to mine new tokens from our compromised wallet. These tokens were not created by our team and the wallet in question is now untrusted.
We repeat: NONE OF THESE TOKENS WERE CREATED BY OUR TEAM. THESE TOKENS ARE FAKE.
The platform warned its users to be careful about these fake tokens and emphasized that they have no connection with the tokens produced from the compromised wallet. Users are advised to invest in safe projects to avoid harm.
Prices of RIF and URO have lost 16% and 15% respectively in the last 24 hours.
