Google searches for the word Bitcoin have increased across LATAM

Interest in Bitcoin in the region has reached record levels, according to Google Trends. Countries like Venezuela, Colombia, and Argentina lead the searches, while the cryptocurrency continues to climb to new all-time highs.

Venezuela doubled the number of searches

Since the onset of the economic situation that the Caribbean country is going through, it has shown its growing interest in cryptocurrencies. These serve as a method of preserving fiat assets against inflation. Chainalysis recently pointed out that the annual growth of the cryptocurrency market in Venezuela is 110%, far surpassing that of any other country in the region, as reported by Cointelegraph in Spanish.
