As a member of the GMT DAO, you can participate in the voting conducted on Polygon by locking your GMT until January 20, 2025, to decide the fate of these 600 million GMT. If there is sufficient GMT voting support for destruction, the GMT DAO will carry out token destruction as directed by the community.
Participation rewards: As proof of participation, you will receive an NFT titled 'Make GMT Great Again.' The GMT DAO has authorized the allocation of 100 million GMT from the ecological fund, which will be airdropped to NFT holders based on the proportion of GMT they have locked.
Voting time and reward distribution:
Voting will take place from November 21, 2024, to January 20, 2025, lasting 60 days.
Rewards will be distributed based on the proportion of GMT you locked for voting. Any GMT locked before 24:00 UTC on any given day will count towards that day's rewards.
Participants will share these rewards.
You will receive your GMT for voting and participation rewards the day after January 20, 2025.
After the destruction activity ends, you can choose to continue using your locked GMT to participate in voting for other programs and receive ongoing participation rewards.
