The emerging star free-to-play GameFi project on BNB Chain, Homie Wars, took the Binance ecosystem by storm with a playable early alpha game and metaverse at launch in December of 2022. Now, just one month later, the Homie Wars team has released the first patch update to the game and metaverse. This new update addresses bugs that have been identified by the community, as well as the introduction to interface improvements and new content.

The new v0.5 update for Homie Wars brings a lot of new content and fluidity to the user experience, with a major emphasis on creating a familiar and seamless experience to attract Web2 gamers to the Web3 gaming ecosystem on BNB Chain.
Patch Notes
New intuitive user interface that is fluid and familiar to Web2 and Web3 gamers alike.
Profile registration, allowing players to lock in their usernames.
Win/loss records.

This approach, of course, is intended to eliminate barriers to entry and emphasise inclusivity to all gamers around the world; regardless of technical know-how, financial circumstances, geographical location, or any other limitation that has restricted players from partaking in the fun of Web3 gaming. Coupling this model with a powerful social ecosystem and fun gameplay, the Homie Wars team is positioning themselves to lead the GameFi industry in the onboarding of mass gaming audiences to the crypto and NFT markets.
As quickly as the Homieverse launched and the first update (v0.5) went live, the Homie Wars team is working towards releasing the next update (v0.6) that looks to continue to expand upon these existing interface updates, new gameplay mechanics, new social integrations, support for content creators and streamers, and additional accessibility options for Web3 and Web2 gamers.
