DZ Bank (Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank) Germany's second largest bank, with 297 billion euros in assets under custody at the end of 2022, is preparing to offer digital asset custody services.
DZ bank has partnered with Swiss company #Metaco and orchestration platform #Harmonize to offer digital currencies to its institutional clients.
According to the information, Harmonize is designed to provide a flexible governance framework and controls with complete separation of multiple business units and customers, ensuring isolation of policies, users, accounts, and assets.
Additionally, #Citibank and Societe Generale are among other major financial institutions that have partnered with Metaco over the past year to provide institutional clients access to digital asset services.
