The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that the BitClave Fair Fund has distributed $4.6 million to qualified investors from the 2017 ICO. BitClave raised $25.5 million during the ICO boom but was sued by the SEC for violating federal securities laws. In 2020, BitClave settled with the SEC, agreeing to return all raised funds and pay a $4 million fine and interest. The SEC notified investors of the claims results this March. The remaining $7.4 million in the Fair Fund is currently unallocated. (CoinDesk)
