President-elect Donald Trump is moving towards breaking and dismantling the BRICS alliance, a political analyst from Moscow, Boris Mezhuyev said. The analyst explained that the 47th president of the United States is determined to confront countries threatening to sever ties with the US dollar. BRICS is the first entity to suffer Trump's wrath after he is sworn in on January 20, 2025.

The BRICS alliance has declared it will spread the agenda of de-dollarization worldwide, and Trump has recently responded to this initiative. The president-elect announced that he will impose a 100% tariff on all goods imported into the US from countries wishing to end their reliance on the US dollar. This move will force the bloc to use the US dollar for trade rather than local currencies for cross-border transactions.

BRICS Will Face The Wrath Of Trump, According To Political Analyst

Mezhuyev emphasized that Trump will aim to disrupt the multipolar world order to maintain the integrity of US dominance. "He will strive to break BRICS, disrupt the emerging multipolar world order. He will do so with greater determination and effectiveness than the previous administration," he told Tass.

The analyst stated that Trump's enemies will extend beyond China and Russia and will be BRICS in general. "I think Trump's main enemy will not be Russia or China, but BRICS itself. His policies will seek to strengthen US hegemony in key areas," he said.

The political analyst stated that Trump will seek to incite India, China, and Russia against each other to weaken BRICS. "Efforts to replace the presidents of Brazil and Venezuela, and incite India, Russia, and China against each other are coming. He will seek to divide the world, disrupting the emerging unity. This non-Western world will be toppled. This is Trump's strategy. Everything else is just a matter of tactics," he summarized.
