Hong Kong, November 19, 2024 – Hong Kong Inspur Cloud, one of the key enterprises recently introduced by the Hong Kong SAR government, announced its establishment at Cyberport. Both parties signed a memorandum of cooperation to promote the development of Hong Kong's artificial intelligence ecosystem, working together to build the infrastructure for Hong Kong's computing power cluster, enhance cloud computing and large model development, establish an artificial intelligence training system, and accelerate the settlement of outstanding enterprises in related fields at Cyberport. The signing ceremony of the memorandum took place today (November 19) at Cyberport, with the presence of Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Ren Jingxin, Director of the Office of Key Enterprise Introduction, Dr. Ge Ming, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology, Dr. Zheng Songyan, CEO of Cyberport, Liu Jiyong, General Manager of Inspur Group, and Xiao Xue, Executive President, Chief Engineer, and Chairman of Inspur Cloud, witnessing the signing of the agreement by Zhu Meien, Chief Corporate Development Officer of Hong Kong Cyberport, and Liu Hui, General Manager of Hong Kong Inspur Cloud. The HaiRuo Intelligent Body International (Hong Kong) R&D Center and Hong Kong Inspur Cloud Services Co., Ltd. also held a plaque unveiling ceremony on the same occasion.
