The Sui mainnet was upgraded to V1.37.3 on November 19, 2024, and the protocol was upgraded to version 68. Key points of this upgrade include: introducing the uncompressed representation of BLS12381-G1 group elements to accelerate the addition operations of group elements. A new protocol version has been added. Enabling gas budget-based block control features. Restoring the ability to start full nodes in epochs before the random beacon was enabled. The unsigned version of the discovery protocol has been removed.
