Bitcoin is not just gold, but also...
A couple of days ago, I saw a piece of news: a stock trading platform priced in Bitcoin received financing. What does it mean to price in Bitcoin? It means that the price per share is not measured in dollars, but in Bitcoin, for example, 'how many Bitcoins is each share worth.' This news made me feel both refreshed and very familiar because it validated an idea I had previously: everything in the world can be priced in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the true benchmark of value, not the dollar. Many people have fallen into a habitual way of thinking, believing that everything should be measured in dollars or fiat currency, including calculating the value of Bitcoin in dollars, such as 'how much is Bitcoin worth in dollars now.' In fact, this thinking is reversed; we should ask: how many Bitcoins is one dollar worth.
