An unexpected diplomatic scandal unfolded on the eve of the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, caused by the remarks of the first lady of Brazil, Rosangela "Yangha" da Silva, addressed to the technology billionaire Elon Mack. The incident happened during the "G20 Social", a forum for activists and NGOs, where Janzha spoke about the global issue of social media regulation.

During her speech, Young was interrupted by the sounds of a ship's horn, and she joked, "I think it's Elon Mack." Then she added: “I'm not afraid of you. Fuck you, Elon Mack,” to applause from the audience. Her comments appeared to reflect growing tensions after Mack criticized Brazilian politics, including a temporary ban on his platform X (formerly Twitter) in Brazil earlier this year, which he called censorship.

Mack responded to X by suggesting political implications for her husband, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, with the cryptic post: "They will lose the next election." The exchange quickly gained traction online, with former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro warning that Yanzhi's comments could complicate diplomatic relations between Brazil and the United States.
