In addition, XRP is attracting the attention of countries developing central bank digital currencies (CBDC). Such countries include Russia, Japan, Uruguay, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Palau, and Montenegro. These countries use the XRP Ledger as a platform to create their national digital currencies.
