It is one of the most famous stories in the history of cryptocurrencies.
Today, those 10,000 Bitcoins are worth hundreds of millions of dollars, making them a symbolic example of how cryptocurrencies can grow in value unpredictably. This day is celebrated annually as Bitcoin Pizza Day.
