#Unibot, Telegram's trading tool, has fallen victim to exploits resulting in significant losses 🤮

Unibot, a popular trading tool on Telegram, was recently the target of a “token assertion exploit” that compromised users’ funds. This vulnerability allowed unauthorized access to tokens, resulting in the theft of approximately $640,000 worth of cryptocurrencies. The misappropriated funds were quickly converted to Ethereum and subsequently transferred through decentralized exchanges.🤕

Near the Ethereum block number 18467790, the attackers deployed a contract and began attacking the Unibot router. The attackers forwarded tokens from approximately 600 affected wallets, which granted token approval to the newest Unibot Router (which began receiving volumes approximately 18 hours before the incident). In total, approximately $600,000 was lost as a result of the exploit, which the Unibot team fully covered at a cost of $1.78 million. #Unibot #Token
