FED set to cut rates as Trump's victory reshapes economic outlook.

The US Fed is slated to announce its decision at 2 pm EST on November 7 or 12.30 am IST on November 8. The current Fed rate is 4.75% to 5.00%.

The Federal Reserve is expected to reduce its benchmark policy rate by a quarter of a percentage point at the end of its policy meeting on Thursday, a decision that may seem a footnote given the uncertain economic terrain the U.S. central bank may soon be navigating under a second Trump administration.
