Memcoins - everything is clear here. If you bought them immediately, as they appeared on any dex exchange with memcoins, then there is a chance to earn. "Moon" for memcoins is listing on large exchanges, like binance. There is no point in buying memcoins on binance, in my opinion.

Stablecoins - it seems to be just as simple. It is a cryptocurrency that tries to maintain a 1 to 1 exchange rate, for example, to USD. A kind of intermediary between fiat and crypto.

BTC is also quite clear. This is the first crypto, there is always excitement around it, etc. If you don't know which crypto to buy, then buy it. This is all clear.

Altcoins - ETH, BNB, and others. There is no particular sense in discussing anything here. They are all tied to BTC.

But I noticed that there are coins that are somewhat different from the others. For example: TRX or XAUT or SUN. Overall, crypto from Tron is somewhat different from others. Strictly by charts. There seem to be prospects, but there is a fear of a trap. As it was with TON. When everything was falling, it was giving growth. It seemed different, better. And then Pavel Durov decided to take profits and it fell and continues to fall.

How to choose a coin for speculation on short distances - this is clear to me. Where there is maximum excitement, there are trades and more chances to make a profit.

But how to choose a coin for long-term investment with minimal risk of losses? I can't understand it yet.

For example, I traded $100, of which I want to invest 20 in the long term. But I can't decide which coin to choose.

BTC is a great option, but I am concerned that it is of interest to the governments of different countries. There are chances of significant downturns. There are chances of artificial downturns. Yes, it will grow back, but the question is 'when?'. What if I urgently need to withdraw investments and there happens to be a downturn, then I don't want to incur a loss.

In my opinion, ETH is a mammoth, old. I don't see prospects in it. It can be traded for short distances, but I don't see prospects for long-term investment.

I still don't quite understand BNB. But for now, my opinion is that its price is currently greatly inflated.

According to the charts, prices on all crypto are currently high. Most likely, a cycle is underway, and it should fall, then rise again, etc.

However, among this volatility, two coins stood out to me: TRX and XAUT.

Everything rises, then falls, and these two are constantly rising. Especially XAUT. They don’t give much x100500. But visually, they give the feeling that if you buy them now for $100, then in 1-2 years, at any moment you can get back your $100 with a high probability of getting a minimal profit.

There is another option, to wait until the price cycle is at the bottom and make a purchase. In this case, it doesn't matter which coins from TOP10 or TOP20 to buy.

But I am interested in the option of buying more for the long-term at any moment of this volatility cycle.

If you compare the charts of BTC and XAUT, XAUT looks more promising for long-term purchases at any point in time, while BTC is more profitable if bought at the bottom. However, it is unclear to me whether there is a guarantee with XAUT that it won’t crash, as was done with Terra.

I am interested in opinions, personal research on the topic: where to invest for the long term, to ensure no losses.
