To trade, you need to give up the idea of 'having a big shot help me make money'
Some people are too lazy; they just want others to help them and ride on someone else's coattails. It's like many people in group projects who do nothing but want their name at the top when reporting. Some people are too naive; when someone says they will guide you, do you really think they will? Some people are too innocent; they see others' returns and genuinely believe that others can make big money.
But you never think, why would a big shot take you along? Is this person really a big shot? They might take you along, but there will definitely be a fee; or they might take you along but take a commission.
However, you are you, and the big shot is the big shot. No matter how powerful others are, they are still others. What if one day the real big shot stops taking you along? What will you do then? If the big shot suffers a loss but still has money to invest, what will you do if you don't even have living expenses?
As small retail investors, we need to learn more, think more, and strive to become big shots ourselves as soon as possible. The big shot can give you tips and guide you, but they should never replace you in making money. We must take ourselves as the main focus, with guidance from the big shot as support, so that we can truly have the skills to face the world without fear.
