In the cryptocurrency circle, those who make money don’t speculate in cryptocurrencies, and those who speculate in cryptocurrencies don’t make money!
As a newbie in the circle, how do you issue your own digital assets?
Now with the development of $CKB (Common Knowledge Base), one-click coin issuance has become possible. Now, even if you are a blockchain novice, you can easily create and issue your own digital assets on CKB. Next, we will explain in detail how to implement one-click coin issuance on CKB.
1. Preparation
First, you need to have a CKB wallet and deposit enough CKB into it. Here we recommend using Keypering wallet, which is a lightweight wallet application designed specifically for CKB.
Download and install the Keypering wallet:
Windows users should choose the installation package with the .exe suffix, while Mac users should choose the installation package with the .dmg suffix.
After installation, open the Keypering wallet.
Create or import a wallet:
If you do not have a $CKB wallet, click 'Create a Wallet' to create a new wallet, back up the mnemonic (12 words), and set a nickname and password for the wallet.
If you already have a CKB wallet, you can import the mnemonic via 'Import Wallet Seed' or restore the wallet by importing the Keystore using 'Import from Keystore'.
Deposit CKB:
Deposit at least 142 CKB into the Keypering wallet, which is the minimum requirement for issuing Tokens.
Special Reminder: The Keypering wallet is currently in the testing phase, please do not deposit large amounts of assets!
2. Issuing Tokens
Next, we can start issuing Tokens. Here we use the one-click token issuance tool provided by CKB.
Open the one-click token issuance tool:
Open the website in your browser: https://udt.ckbapp.dev/
Connect Wallet:
In the 'Wallet Authentication' section, click 'Connect Wallet', then follow the prompts to complete the wallet connection and authentication.
Issue Token:
Switch to the 'Token Issuance' page, fill in the number of Tokens you want to issue, and then click 'Submit'.
Complete the wallet authorization and password input as prompted, wait for confirmation on the chain, and your Token will be successfully issued!
View Token:
After successful issuance, you can switch to the 'Token Transfer' page to view the number of Tokens you issued.
This number is the total amount of the Tokens you just issued.
3. Token Transfer and Management
Now that you have successfully issued your own Token, you can proceed to Token transfer and management.
Initiate Transfer:
On the 'Token Transfer' page, fill in the recipient's CKB address and the number of Tokens you want to transfer.
If the recipient's address does not have enough CKB to pay for the storage fee of the Token, you can check 'I will provide the required CKB for the recipient'.
Complete the wallet authorization and password input as prompted, wait for confirmation on the chain, and the transfer will be completed.
View Transaction:
You can check this transaction in the CKB browser using the transaction hash.
All Tokens issued based on CKB can be queried on the Token page of the CKB browser.
Update Token Information:
If you want to change the name, symbol, logo, etc., of the issued Token, you can switch to the 'Token Information' page and click 'Submit Token Information' in the upper right corner.
After filling in the relevant information, send an email to submit. The token information submitted via email will undergo manual review, and once approved, you will be able to see the updated Token information on the CKB chain.
Burn Token:
If you no longer need this Token, you can switch to the 'Token Burn' page to proceed.
The above is a detailed tutorial on $CKB KB's one-click token issuance. Through this process, you can easily create and issue your own digital assets on CKB. Whether you are a blockchain novice or an experienced developer, you can enjoy the convenience and fun brought by one-click token issuance. Now, let's give it a try!
