Question 5:
What specific technical challenges does the Floki team anticipate 'Vanguard' will face during high traffic periods, and how will this stress test inform improvements? How will you balance the performance of the main bot and the backup bots, especially as the user base grows?
B:
'Vanguard' is essentially the same bot as the main Floki trading bot on the backend. The database is the same, the functionalities are the same, and almost everything else is identical except for the name and the TG instance it runs on.
The necessity of Vanguard arises from limitations imposed by Telegram itself, where their normal rate limits restrict bots and users after a certain level of activity. This is one of the main reasons our bot crashes a few times when we have a high traffic load. While we have made many changes to ensure the bot operates as efficiently as possible, we set up Vanguard (and will soon launch other backup bots) to work around some of these Telegram restrictions so that users always have a backup option if the main bot goes down in the future.
